ScombApp Plivacy Policy
ScombApp is a smartphone application of ScomZ (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") operated by the Information Network System Department of Shibaura Institute of Technology.
The following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") is established for the handling of information including personal information in the Service.
1. User information to be collected
User information" as used in this Policy is as follows
- Identification information used for user identification and authentication
- ScomZ user notices, course information, assignments, tests, and surveys
- Time stamping information (time and place of stamping)
- Access records from smartphones to the service's server
2. Purpose of use of user information
The purposes of use of user information obtained through this service are as follows
- Recording and analysis of the user's time and place of attendance at school
- Recording and analysis of user usage
- Responding to inquiries from users
3. Method of obtaining user information
User information collected by the ScombApp is transmitted to the Service's servers
4. Methods of Notification, Publication, or Obtaining Consent, and Methods of User Involvement
(1) Notification and Publication
Information about the Service will be notified and announced on the Shibaura Institute of Technology Center for Science Information homepage or in ScombZ announcements.
(2) Method of obtaining consent
Consent will be obtained when the application is launched for the first time.
(3) Method of user involvement
Acquisition of user information can be discontinued by uninstalling this application.
5. Provision to third parties
The acquired user information may be provided to the following third parties.
- When the information is provided in a form that does not allow identification of the user, such as statistical data.
- When disclosure and provision is required by law.

7. Revision
The Service reserves the right to revise this policy as necessary. When this policy is revised, the date and content of the revised policy will be made known to the public by appropriate means.
