SITNET

SITNET refers to Network of the Center for Science Information at Shibaura Institute of Technology.
In each room, there are information outlet for connecting to SITNET called SRAS Wired LAN .（If there is not an information outlet, please contact the academic planning section of each campus.）

Since the network of information outlets is not open (or a network of former teachers), opening procedures are required.

To connect the laboratory network to SITNET, you need informations about which room's information outlet number and which laboratory domain name to connect.
Apply for "Information outlet number", "Department domain name", "Laboratory domain name", "Host name" and "Mac address" in your Laboratory, as described in "Shibaura Institute of Technology Network (SITNET) Connection Application form".Based on the submitted application form, Center for Science Information will register the first computer on SITNET, and will notify that your laboratory's network can be connected to SITNET together with the "Network connection permission".
