Explorer cannot connect to the submission folder or download server (windows)

There is a server for faculty members' assignment submission folders (shared folders). (Click here)

The Center for Science Information has contracted for site licenses for major software and allows students (currently enrolled) and faculty to install site license software on their personal and laboratory computers. (Click here)

The steps to install eligible software are as follows

 However, depending on the version of Windows, there have been several reports of users being unable to connect to the download server from Explorer. As one remedy, please refer to the following steps.

 

1) Search for "Credential Manager" from the search tab in the lower left corner, and open it.


2) Select "Add a windows credential".


3) Enter your information.

  • Internet or network address: download.sic.shibaura-it.ac.jp
  • User name: Student ID number
  • Password: windows/ADFS password

 
Thereafter, please follow the link above to try to connect to the download server.
