Currently, some services using the campus mail server have failed.

The cause is currently under investigation.

• Cannot connect to mail server due to authentication error

With the expectation that Windows7 manufacturer support will end, Windows 10 will be added as a boot OS in the PC classroom environment from October 1st.

In order to avoid confusion due to sudden changes, the trial period of Windows 10 will be set for FY2019, and parallel operation will be performed by selecting the OS from the startup menu.

The details are as follows.

• efault startup is Windows7
• When switching OS, reboot and select from boot menu
• Windows10 edition is Education
• For the trial period to the last, the software that can be put in Windows 10 is the minimum
• Only PC classrooms will be implemented, and only Windows 7 will be activated at general classrooms.

We will hold a seminar on the product introduction of the mathematical expression processing system “Mathematica”, which is installed as the university's site license software. If you are interested, please take this opportunity.

From the end of July 2019 to the end of September, the general classroom AV equipment / system and the console will be renovated in Shibaura and Omiya Building No.2.
Since the work will be conducted intensively in about 10 days per classroom, the classroom cannot be used during that time. In addition, it will be a transition to new equipment from the classroom where work has been completed.

About self-service opening

Please check the following precautions carefully before use.

1. Each room is locked. You can unlock it by holding your student card over a card reader near the entrance door.
2. Do not leave the door open. To go outside, turn the thumb turn to unlock.
3. Please turn on / off the lighting by yourself.
4. There is no replenishment of paper to the multifunction device, troubleshooting of equipment, or handling of counters.
5. Please follow the rules for use of the training room (prohibition of bringing in food and drinks, prohibiting nuisance, etc.) as usual.
6. Do not leave the room after the opening hours, or move or take out chairs, eat or drink or smoke, etc. If such an activity is discovered, we will review the implementation of the self-service room.
