If you are using a wireless LAN on Windows 10,
It has been reported that the network connection becomes unstable due to the power saving settings of Windows.

Also, it may become stable due to a reboot.
I suspect that the problem is that IPv6 is enabled.
From the following URL, after downloading "Disable IPv6 on non-tunnel interface (excluding loopback) and IPv6 tunnel interface", execute it, restart Windows, and then try again with VPN connection. Please try it.

There is a possibility that VPN is restricted on your network, or that the VPN regulation by the Chinese government has been strengthened and connection is not possible.

You may be able to connect using the SIM roaming service of a telecommunications company in Japan. Some on-campus systems can be accessed without using a VPN.
If your OS is a Mac, there is a possibility that the OS has disabled the GlobalProtect function or the set address is incorrect.
Please follow the steps on the following pages.
If your OS is other than Mac, there is a possibility that the address is incorrect.
You can input the URL of the server again by uninstalling once and then installing.
You can connect to the university network via SRAS VPN from your home. For more detail, please read the “SRAS VPN (Virtual Private Network)” page and set up your computer (smartphone) referring to the manual in the guide column.
When you use the VPN, you have to apply for SRAS VPN with AMI first (except connecting via GlobalProtect).
If you can't see a specific page even though you are connected, refer to "Cannot see S * gsot (Windows10)".
* AMI requires to access from the campus network.
Due to Windows Update, VPN can't connect in some cases.
Please delete your existing VPN connection settings and reconfigure them.
The following are the delete settings.
Windows Start menu > settings > Networks > VPN
Then click on the corresponding VPN connection name and click "Delete".
Once the deletion is complete, set up the VPN again.
