The university's network is divided into two: Educational Research Network and Administrative Support Network.
Educational Research Network

SITNET refers to "Shibaura Institute of Technology Center for Science Information Network".
In each room, there is an outlet for connecting to SITNET which is called as information outlet (if it is not installed, please contact the School Affairs Division of your campus).
Take note that you need to first make an application if you want to use the network through the information outlet since it is not usable by default.

SRAS is an abbreviation for Shibaura-it Remote Access Service. It is a service for connecting to the campus network (SRAS VPN) from off-campus such as at home or on the go via the Internet, or connecting to the campus network (SRAS wireless LAN) from the wireless LAN on the university campus. |

Administrative Network
There are outlets for office network connection called as the information outlet in rooms within the university (please contact the Facilities Section if it is not installed). Since the network connection of the information outlet is secured, please contact the Informational Innovation Section prior to use.
