File placement and access settings

1. Create a folder named "public_html" under MyVolume (Z drive).
2. Set the access permission (permission) of "public_html" folder created in 1 to "755".
3. Place the file you want to display as a web page (such as index.html) in the public_html folder.
4. Set the permissions of the file placed in 3 to "644".

※ The default setting is on-campus network open.

Available functions

The following functions may not be available due to operational issues or security issues.
Please use it as a test environment for learning.

• CGI
  There is no specification of the directory, and the one with the extension cgi is automatically executed.
  It doesn't need to be specified in ".htacces", but it can also be specified in the ForceType directive.
• perl
  The path is /usr/bin/perl.
• .htaccess
  There is no need to specify it, but it can be written explicitly.

Unavailable features

• Java Servlet、JSP
• PHP、ruby etc.
• Database etc(MYSQL、PostgreSQL)

Notes

• The contents that be released outside the campus will be accessible from all over the world.
• Attention must be paid to the content of the contents to be released and the copyright, portrait rights, etc.
• Before publishing the web page, please use the information moral e-learning "smiledu" etc. to deepen your understanding about information morals.
