This page introduces how to contact people on and off campus instead of PHS.

Introducing alternative applications and services toward the end of PHS public service (January 31, 2021) and the end of extension service (November 2022)

Notes

  • Use Teams to call faculty members on campus.
  • Please note that Mobile Choice 050 will call the other party from your mobile number if you make a call from the incoming call history.
  • You cannot dial a special number (0120, 110, 119, etc.) from the Mobile Choice 050 number.

【Utilization of Teams】

  1. About Teams
    Temas is a business chat tool made by Microsoft.It has the function of linking with various services of Office 365, and has evolved into a tool that provides a workspace to facilitate business operations.
    You can install Microsoft Teams on your personal smartphone and use the Teams application to communicate with users on campus such as calls, messages, and file sharing.

【Utilization of Mobile Choice 050】

  1. What is Mobile Choice?
    This service allows you to use your personal smartphone or mobile phone to automatically use the "call charges" used off-campus (business trip destination, telework) without changing the PHS extension number.
