Center for Science Information has introduced and operate three types of software (Category A, B and C) that are used in information systems for education and research in mainly PC classrooms to improve the information environment in education and research activities. This guideline shows the outline and application, implementation, management and precautions about purpose of software introduction and operation of three software divisions at the Center for Science Information.

 

Purpose
  • Respond flexibly to requests for the introduction of various software required by departments that use PC rooms in classes.
  • Create an environment where students and teachers can easily use the software by centralizing software operation windows and operations.
  • The Center for Science Information organizes contracts that allow comprehensive use of software within SIT, such as site licenses, and efficiently introduces paid software required for education and research.
  • The Center for Science Information introduce the software that is useful for maintaining security and that can be used comprehensively within the university organization. In addition it improves and promotes system security.
