The following shows how to change the PC language, and also how to change the keyboard settings because it is changed the language by changing the PC language.

【Change the language】

① Open the Windows Settings, select "time and language". 

② Change "Windows display language" in "Language" to English.

③ Log off.

【Change the keyboard settings】

① Open the Windows Settings, select "device".

② Open "Advanced keyboard settings" in "Input".

③ Change to "Japanese".

④ Log off.

You can join the Zoom meeting from your browser by making the following settings.

The browser version has some functional restrictions compared to the app version.

Settings on the host side(settings are required before the meeting starts)

1. Select the settings from the left side.
   
   
   
2. Scroll down and turn on the "Show "join from browser" link" item.
   
   
   

Operation on the participant side.

1.  Click the URL of the meeting provided by the host.
2.  Click "Join from Your Browser" or "ブラウザから参加してください"
   
   
   
3. Enter a name and check "I'm not a robot". You can then join the meeting from your browser by clicking "Join".
   

Because the maximum number is 300 in Zoom meeting by our university license, the maximum number of breakout rooms is the followings.

The number of breakout rooms Maximum number of participants assigned to the breakout room*
20 breakout rooms     Maximum number of participants is 300.
30 breakout rooms     Maximum number of participants is 300.
50 breakout rooms     Maximum number of participants is 200.

In addition to the above, there is a limit of 200 people if you assign the breakout room in advance.
You can't make the breakout room has more than 200 participants in advance.

In the Windows Settings app,

Devices (or Bluetooth and Devices) → Printers and Scanners → Print Server Properties (scroll down to view)

and open the "Ports" tab at the top of the window that appears.。

A list of ports will then be displayed. The error can be resolved by deleting the port name "spl3.sic.shibaura-it.ac.jp_KX" from the list.
("Port" is like a connection port for the computer and printer to exchange data.)

If you receive an error message "The selected resource is in use" when deleting,

1. From the "Printers and Scanners" screen, click on the university's printer settings you created in the past (if any), click on "Open Queue", and in the queue list screen, right-click→ Cancel All Documents (if none, skip this step).
2. From the "Printers and Scanners" screen, click on the university printer settings you created in the past, if any, and click "Delete".
3. Try deleting the port again, and if the error appears again, restart the computer itself.
4. If you try deleting the port again and the error appears again, please contact the Information Center for Academic Affairs.

Is your user name the same as your student ID number (aa00000, etc.)? If it is different, please reset the user name registered in the printer driver. If you are from the PC classroom, make sure that your login ID is not in uppercase.

This method moves the paper set on the plotter.
* This function is useful when you want to move the cloth to a position where it can be easily cut after printing the cloth.

1. Select the “i” icon at the top left of the plotter display

2. Select the "Spanner" icon in the lower right

3. Select "用紙" from the main menu

4. Select "用紙を移動"

5. Press and hold “素材送り” to bring out the paper.
* Press and hold “素材の巻き取り” to wind the paper.

Your browser's cache may be bad
First of all, please try restarting the terminal, changing the browser, etc.

If you created your own Zoom account with your university email address, you may not be able to sign in with SSO.
In that case, you need to change the address of the created account to another one.
First of all, please try to log in as a user with @sic at https://zoom.us.
If you can log in, please change the email address on your account.

You can access the STATION(unix password) and create it by the following procedure. (Teacher only)

1. Press “Show advanced options” in the TALENT ML settings.

2. Scroll and press “Add Participant Address” in the external participant address.

3. Enter the address to be added to the input box.

4. Check if ML mail is also delivered to the above address.

5. Execute the process and save the result.

If you don't check item 4, you can post to the ML, but your mail will be treated as a non-forwarding address.

Please come to the service counter of 'Information Network Systems Section' or 'student affairs section'.

Please show your student ID card at the counter and then we will return it to you.

You may be able to connect using the SIM roaming service of a telecommunications company in Japan. Some on-campus systems can be accessed without using a VPN.

Maruzen e-books can be used without authentication by connecting to SRAS-VPN.
* Gakunin is not available

When you change your student number because of entering the graduate school and so on, you need to reset the printer driver.

Please carry out the student number changing referring to the under manual.

*This manual shows the Windows case.
　In MacOS, you can reset the additions and deletions in "System Preferences > Printers and scanners".
　If you want to do the addition setting, click here and check the step 14 as reference.

4. After click searching the printer name of the university multifunction device, click "Manager".

9. Rewrite the "Queue name" column to the correct contents.

10. After click "OK" and "Close", the settings finished. 

Please follow the below steps to access to desktop on your acount in college computer room from your own or home PC. 

1. Connect to SRAS VPN.
2. Login to SIC Drive(SIC Drive using guide is here).
3. Select the files in order by MyVolume→win→Desktop.

About how to use Adobe by smart phone or tablet device,
You can use the app by logging in with your university's Adobe account (user_name@sic.shibaura-it. ac.jp). ac.jp) in the app.

If you receive the above error mail from the Mail Delivery System, it means that the recipient's mail box is full. If teacher is using Gmail, it is likely that they are also reading mail.

* In case of error code "501"
【problem】
After placing student ID card in front of the reader, Error501 is displayed and printing is disable

【Cause】
Other smart cards in the wallet or card holder might cause read error【solution】
Place student ID card in front of the reader alone

* In case of error code "503"
【Problem】
After placing student ID card in front of the reader, "Error code 503" is displayed and printing is disable

【Cause】
There is a possibility of an invalid student ID (old one after graduation, reissue, etc.)

【solution】
1) Check if it is the latest student ID → Note that if you reissue it, you will not be able to use the old card

2) Others → Contact your nearest information system section
