Install Necessary Apps

Here are the 5 essential apps for your university life.
Specifically, setting up Microsoft Authenticator is mandatory to log in to university systems. Please complete the setup before the entrance ceremony.

 

Goal

・Install all required apps on your smartphone.

Note: This app will be used repeatedly for authentication during your time at the university. Ensure that it is installed on your personal smartphone, which you must carry with you to campus daily.

 

1. Apps for Pre-enrollment Preparation
[IMPORTANT] Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required for almost all university services.Please install the following apps immediately.

This is an MFA app provided by Microsoft. You will use it whenever you log in to almost any university service. 

Follow the instructions in the next step to complete the setup.

Instructions for the setup are provided in Step 4-1. Please make sure to complete the configuration.

Gmail

Multi-factor authentication is required for your university Gmail account.
The university recommends and provides manuals for using this app for authentication.

2. Apps for Use After Enrollment

A portal app exclusively for SIT students.
You can check your timetable, register attendance, and submit assignments from your smartphone.

 Use this app to print documents from your smartphone using the Kyocera printers installed on campus.You can print PDFs or reports without a PC.

Zoom

 Used for online classes and group work meetings.
By signing in with your university account, you can use it without time limits.
