Install Necessary Apps

Here are five essential apps for starting your university life.
In particular, setting up Microsoft Authenticator is required to log in to campus systems. Be sure to complete this setup before the entrance ceremony.

 

Achievement Goals

・Install all the apps you use on your smartphone

Note: You will need to use this app to authenticate your identity multiple times during your time at the university.

1. Apps for pre-enrollment preparation
[Important] Multi-factor authentication is required for nearly all services at this university.
Please install the apps listed below immediately.

This is a multi-factor authentication app provided by Microsoft.
You will use it to log in to nearly all services provided by the university.

Instruction on how to set it up are provided in Step4, so please be sure to complete the setup.

Gmail

Gmail accounts used at the university require multi-factor authentication.
The university recommends using this app for multi-factor authentication, and the manual also recommends this approach.

Instruction on how to set it up are provided in Step3, so please be sure to complete the setup.

 

2. Apps to use after enrollment

This is a portal app exclusively for Shibaura Institute of Technology students.
You can check your class schedule, mark your attendance, and submit assignments right from your smartphone.

Kyocera Mobile Print

This app allows you to print from your smartphone using the Kyocera printers located on campus.
Even without a computer, you can print PDFs and reports stored on your smartphone anywhere on campus.

Zoom

Android : From the Google Play

This is used for online classes and group work meetings.
By signing in with your university account, you can use it without any time limits.
